Introduction

Komal is a seasoned transactional lawyer with over half a decade of experience advising on corporate, commercial, foreign investment, and securities law. Her practice focuses on deal structuring, start-up advisory, M&A, PE/VC investments, joint ventures, capital markets and acquisition of stressed assets.

Handled CIRP and liquidation processes of various entities across the real estate, textile, and manufacturing sectors.

Advised Patanjali Ayurved Limited on the acquisition of International Mega Food Park Limited, including legal due diligence and transaction documentation support.
Advised and represented the Resolution Professional in the personal insolvency matter of Amarjit Singh Daswal vs Punjab National Bank before NCLT New Delhi.
Advised Rishabh Infra in Section 9 IBC proceedings before NCLT Ahmedabad against Sadbhav Engineering Limited, successfully leading settlement negotiations.
Represented and assisted Alstrong Enterprises India Limited in proceedings under Section 7 of the IBC before the NCLT, New Delhi Bench.

Advised WOTA Corp. on FEMA, Customs and BIS regulatory implications in relation to its collaboration with Source Naturals Foods for a water recycling technology project in India.
Advised Orchid Pharma Limited on contract manufacturing and technology licensing arrangements with ACHE for commercialisation of pharmaceutical products in Brazil.
Advised Mac View Infrabiz on the Hotel Management Agreement with InterContinental Hotels Group (India) Pvt. Ltd.
Drafted and negotiated a Settlement Agreement and Amendment to the Shareholders’ Agreement for Dhanuka Agritech Limited.
