Introduction

  • Advised and defended Universus Photo Imagings Ltd. before the Hon’ble NCLT, Allahabad, and the NCLAT in a highly contested oppression and management petition under Section 244 of the Companies Act, 2013.
  • Advised and represented Chaitanya Energy Pvt. Ltd. in a commercial suit before the Delhi High Court and obtained a stay on encashment of the bank guarantee.
  • Advised and represented Divyanshi Aviation Services Pvt. Ltd. and its majority shareholders in a multi-layered dispute under Sections 241-242 of the Companies Act, 2013.
  • Represented a local trading company in a commercial suit filed against Dubai-based entities before the High Court of Punjab and Haryana.
  • Successfully argued a commercial suit for declaration and mandatory injunction against a leading FMCG company on behalf of a shareholder asserting beneficial ownership over disputed shares.
  • Advised and represented Oriental Textiles Processing Company in a writ petition before the High Court of Punjab and Haryana challenging coercive actions under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986.
  • Advised and represented M/s Trehan Hospitality and Reality Pvt. Ltd. in a writ petition before the Punjab and Haryana High Court challenging HRERA penalty proceedings raising constitutional questions under RERA.
  • Advised and represented Global Health Limited (Medanta) in a writ petition before the Delhi High Court challenging proceedings by the Collector of Stamps regarding stamp duty under the Finance Act, 2019.
  • Represented Patanjali Foods Ltd. in a writ petition before the Madhya Pradesh High Court challenging DRT proceedings in violation of a court-sanctioned compromise scheme.
  • Successfully defended a leading medical supplier in a hospital infrastructure tender dispute before the High Court of Meghalaya and the Supreme Court.
  • Successfully represented Kanwar Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. against a PSU before the Delhi High Court and subsequent arbitral proceedings.
  • Successfully defended Israel-based Global Medical Horizon Ltd. in arbitration proceedings before the Delhi High Court.
  • Advised and represented Berggruen Hotels Pvt. Ltd. in arbitration concerning management disputes over a prime hotel property in Mumbai.
  • Represented SMS India Pvt. Ltd. in a construction arbitration initiated by a registered MSME entity arising out of a works contract.
  • Successfully represented the Resolution Professional in the CIRP of Athena Demwe Power Ltd. including litigations before the NCLT, NCLAT and the Supreme Court.
  • Drafted pleadings in applications filed by the Resolution Professional under Sections 66 and 43 of the IBC.
  • Successfully argued an application on behalf of Amber Enterprises India Ltd. under Section 9 of the IBC, whereby the corporate debtor was admitted into CIRP.
  • Represented the Suspended Director of a Corporate Debtor challenging a resolution plan before the NCLAT, arguing undervaluation and lack of procedural transparency.
