Introduction

  • Advised and represented a leading real estate company in court proceedings before the Supreme Court and Delhi High Court related to enforcement, contempt, and Section 9 proceedings arising from an award passed by a former Supreme Court judge.
  • Advising TripAdvisor India and TripAdvisor LLC in trademark disputes before the Delhi High Court and the Bombay High Court, and providing strategic inputs on civil litigation concerning platform liability.
  • Represented ICAP II India Pvt Ltd. in a matter related to interest liability on the registration fee under Schedule III of the amended SEBI (Stockbrokers Regulations), 1992.
  • Represented a former KMP of a leading NBFC in an appeal before the Securities Appellate Tribunal, challenging SEBI’s excessive penalty for alleged lapses in loan approvals.
  • Advised a Dubai-based entity Panworld LLC in a trademark infringement suit initiated by a subsequent user.
  • Advised and represented Lemon Tree Hotel Group in an arbitration proceeding before a former Supreme Court judge.
  • Represented Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. in an application under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking interim measures of protection against convening a Board Meeting in contravention of the terms of the SHA.
  • Represented a leading real estate company and its promoters in an international commercial arbitration relating to enforcement of a Share Purchase Agreement under FEMA (Non-Debt) Rules.
  • Represented a corporate guarantor before the Delhi High Court in petitions under Sections 9 and 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

Insolvency & Bankruptcy

  • Successfully represented SIDBI in an Appeal before the NCLAT against an order dismissing an application under Section 7 of the IBC.
  • Represented Deepak Industries in an appeal before NCLAT against an order dismissing an application seeking declaration of expenses as CIRP costs.
  • Represented Successful Resolution Applicant in the CIRP of Tamra Dhatu Udyog Pvt Ltd.
  • Advised and represented a leading real estate company before NCLT and NCLAT in objections to the resolution plan pertaining to transfer of development license.
